WORSHIP SERVICES

On Sunday mornings we worship together in a "blended" style that incorporates elements from our various backgrounds. Members and friends of MCC come from every conceivable Christian tradition, and we make an effort to honor and challenge everyone, every Sunday. We use contemporary Christian praise music, evangelical and "high" church hymns and various celebrations of the Lord's Supper or Holy Communion all to focus our attention on the God who loves us.

We utilize inclusive language in our singing and prayers to acknowledge the many manifestations of our God, Father/Mother, Creator as represented in the Biblical record. We also attempt to make our worship "user friendly" even to those who have not been in worship for many years, if ever. If you have any question about any practice in our worship, please feel free to ask the Pastor, or the Music or Worship Coordinators of the Day.

SNOW POLICY: The snow policy for MCC Baltimore is that our weather plans and closings will be available on mailbox 1 by 7 AM on Sunday morning for Sunday services, 5 PM for Intercessory Prayer on Wednesdays.

Event organizers will attempt to call anyone registered (signed up on sign up sheets) for any other special events. You can also check the mailbox for special event information.

9:00 AM - Traditional Celebration is a more reflective worship, drawing on our varied liturgical traditions while still proclaiming MCC's liberating message of God's love for all people.

10:00 AM - Hospitality Hour, a time for the entire congregation to come together, meet, be entertained and informed

11:00 AM - Praise Celebration is an enthusiastic, free-flowing time of singing and proclamation.
