Thank you for visiting the Web site for The Metropolitan Community Church of Baltimore. Since 1972 we have been providing a spiritual home where your sexuality will not be debated or simply tolerated, but celebrated as a gift from God.

Our calling is to provide a spiritual welcome and home to all people, especially to other lesbian women, gay men, bisexual and transgendered people, and everyone who will walk our journey of faith with us. As pastor, it is my calling to communicate our belief in a God who loved us enough to come to earth in human form as Jesus Christ to live, die, and be resurrected from the dead for us. Through worship we want to provide transformational encounters with the Holy Spirit that allow us to see our lives in a new light. The Bible is used to reveal God moving through God's people throughout history, just as the stories of contemporary folks illustrate the continued movement of the Holy Spirit. As God's children we are all gifted to be a gift to others, and an important part of our ministry is to help you find your ministry in the unique abilities, passion and experiences you bring to our community.
